February 11, 2006 Have you been up there yet? Have you seen the crowd as it is now? “No." Lacey looked a little perplexed. It sold out. Over 3,000 people. “Wow.” Now Lacey's excitement began to shine through. How does that feel? “Amazing,” she said with a charming smile. When you first started off, did you expect anything like this tour. Which is just getting phenominal coverage. If they’re not selling out, they’re coming really close. And you know that they’re there to see Seether and Shinedown, but you guys are the reason I drove 3 hours today. To see FLYLEAF. To experience it live. “When we first started off, we never, I mean, it was just … you know … it was fun. We were just having a good time. I know we’re all really passonate about our music and we just wanted to get that out. And we kinda just wanted to get that out, I guess. It would be cool, but it wasn’t like … we’ve seen a lot of bands. It was just cool to play at 2 in the afternoon at The Vibe on 6th Street, on a tuesday in front of Jerry’s mom and a sound guy. That was cool. We got to play on a stage with a system. Every door that’s opened we’ve been greatful. It could end tomorrow, but we’ve done alot of stuff and we’re just thankful to be here today.”
